Super Technologies to Acquire Maxbet Online’s Assets in Romania and Malta

Super Technologies, the company formerly known as Superbet, has continued its growth with a major new acquisition. According to the global technology & entertainment company’s latest announcement, it has now penned an agreement to acquire Maxbet Online’s operations in Romania and Malta.

Super Technologies Sets Out to Expand Its CEE Presence

Super Technologies, which recently adopted this new brand identity to better reflect its global ambitions, confirmed on LinkedIn that it has signed an acquisition agreement for the operations of Maxbet Online in Romania and Malta.

In its announcement, Super confirmed that this move marks an “important chapter” for its business, which has been pursuing growth across markets in Central and Eastern Europe. If the deal, which is subject to necessary regulatory approvals, passes, Maxbet’s operations will be integrated into the broader Super business.

As a result, Maxbet will transition to the Super brand, with its customer base to be seamlessly transferred. Super Technologies emphasized that players’ access to the company’s services will remain uninterrupted. At the same time, the transition will allow them to benefit from the expanded capabilities offered by Super’s technology platform.

Super concluded that customers can look forward to best-in-class gaming experiences that are underpinned by operational excellence, compliance, responsible gaming, and data security.

The Next Phase of Maxbet’s Evolution

Representatives praised the arrangement, saying that it will benefit both parties. Adam Lamentowicz, chief commercial officer for CEE at Super, noted that the acquisition aligns with his team’s consolidation strategy in Central and Eastern Europe. He added that the deal will strengthen his company’s ability to build a “competitive entertainment ecosystem tailored to the expectations of customers in each market.”

Lamentowicz added:

Romania is a key pillar of our growth strategy, and this transaction enables us to accelerate both operational and commercial development through a diversified brand portfolio and a well-defined community of customers.

Bauer concluded that becoming a part of the Super family will allow his team to further elevate the experience for its players.
